Before joining D|Part in September 2017, she worked as Programme Officer at the European Democracy Lab, of which she is also Co- Founder. Previously, she worked for the European think tank ESI (European Stability Initiative) in Istanbul and Berlin.  She holds degrees in Communication Science, Politics, and International Relations from the University of Erfurt (Germany) and Bogazici University (Turkey) as well as an MSc. in Democracy and Comparative Politics from University College London (UK).

Dr Heather Grabbe

heatherHeather Grabbe, as both the director of the Open Society European Policy Institute and director of EU affairs, works to ensure that open society values are at the heart of EU policies and actions, both inside and outside its borders.

From 2004 to 2009 she was senior advisor to then European Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn, responsible in his cabinet for the Balkans and Turkey. Before joining the commission, she was deputy director of the Centre for European Reform, the London-based think tank, where she published widely on EU enlargement and other European issues. Her writing has appeared in the Financial Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian, among others.

Her academic career includes teaching at the London School of Economics, and research at Oxford and Birmingham universities, the Royal Institute for International Affairs (Chatham House, London), and the European University Institute (Florence). Grabbe has a PhD from Birmingham University and a BA and MA from Oxford University. She speaks French, Italian, and German.

Christine Hübner

christineSRChristine is a founding partner at d|part and supports the project team with her methodological expertise. Christine has several years of experience as a research consultant for consumer goods manufacturers and professional service firms, where she led large-scale qualitative as well as quantitative research projects. She holds degrees in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen (Germany) as well as Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Edinburgh (UK).

Dr Jan Eichhorn

Eichhorn PicCas

Jan is a founding partner of d|part and its research director. He coordinated the design of the project and oversees its progress and in particular the research undertaken. 

Jan holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Integrated Social Sciences from Jacobs University Bremen. In addition to his research work Jan also teaches as a Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh and has provided expert advice on political participation and public engagement in constitutional change processes to governments and parliaments in Scotland, the UK and Germany as well as a wide range of third sector organisations and foundations. Jan has also been a frequent contributor to discussions in print and broadcast media in multiple countries.

Magali Mohr

Magali new ad minMagali is a Research Fellow at d|part and is the the head quantitative researcher for the project.

Before joining d|part Magali worked as a business consultant in a market research company in London, where she conducted qualitative and quantitative research, amongst others in India, Egypt, Singapore, Italy, Germany and the UK. She is currently also a project coordinator at the Foundation FUTURZWEI.

 Magali holds a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University and an MSc in Global Migration from University College London.
